Iowa Cubs News Release
The Brad Nelson Fan Club returns to Principal Park tonight to cheer on the Algona native and Nashville Sounds outfielder. Its the Sounds last game in Iowa until June 9-12. The Mason City Globe-Gazette has wall-to-wall coverage of the Sounds slugger.
Brad Nelson wanted to be a professional baseball player for a long time.
I thought Calvin Nuke LaLoosh and Crash Davis of Bull Durham fame were going to come around the corner of the Sounds clubhouse.
I knew right away that he was something really special.
