Carpenter Bobblehead Delayed

April 24, 2005 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Memphis Redbirds News Release

Memphis, Tenn. – Chris Carpenter made a successful transition between countries when he came to the St. Louis organization from Toronto, but his bobbleheads were not so lucky. The Carpenter bobbleheads, slated to be given away by the Redbirds on Monday, were held up at customs. The first 1500 fans through the gates will still get the Carpenter bobblehead; vouchers for the bobble will be distributed at tomorrow’s game and can be redeemed from April 29-May 13 at the BackStop Baseball Emporium.

The Redbirds are in the midst of an eight-game homestand with Omaha and Iowa. Tony LaRussa Bobblehead Night is Thursday, April 28, when Memphis takes on the I-Cubs.
