April 18, 2005 - Atlantic League (AtL)
Lancaster Stormers News Release

The Bob Dylan Show has just announced the second annual tour of America’s minor league baseball parks, and brand new Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster will be one of the 27 stops. Dylan and his band, along with country music icon Willie Nelson will come to Lancaster on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19. Tickets go on sale May 7 at noon at the Clipper Magazine Building, or via phone or internet. More details will follow. Last year, over 150,000 fans enjoyed a night under the stars with Dylan and Nelson. That tour was named “Most Creative Tour Package” by industry-leader Pollstar Magazine, and this summer Bob & Willie are taking it On The Road Again. Opening the tour will be Dualtone recording artists The Greencards. All three bands will be performing separate sets.

Performing on this tour with his band, Bob Dylan has experienced one of his most creative and prolific periods over the past half-dozen years. Multiple Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and over 500 concert performances have all found Bob Dylan to be in prime form. Recent performances with his new band have garnered rave reviews and played to capacity crowds.

Like Bob Dylan, Willie NelsonÂ’s career has spanned five decades, and in that time heÂ’s become one of the most prolific recording and touring artists in any genre of music. His popularity, as both a commercial success and a criticÂ’s favorite, has garnered him shelves of awards, including recognition by the Country Music Association, the American Music Awards, numerous Grammy Awards and many more.

DonÂ’t miss out on this rare opportunity to see two of AmericaÂ’s most revered musical treasures!

All tickets are priced at $49.50 plus applicable service charges. Kids under 12 get in FREE with each adult ticket holder. There is no baseball game on the day of the show.

This is the second announcement of a major concert at Clipper Magazine Stadium. It was previously announced that Def Leppard and Bryan Adams will combine for a “Rock-n-Roll Doubleheader Show” on July 2. Tickets for that show are now on sale and going quickly.
