MTV’s “The Real World Philadelphia” cast to attend Sunday's Soul game

PHILADELPHIA – The cast of MTV’s “The Real World Philadelphia” will be in attendance at the Philadelphia Soul game this Sunday, February 27th when they take Soul take on the Dallas Desperados at 3 p.m. at the Wachovia Center. Karamo, Landon, Melanie, and Shavonda return to Philadelphia for a reunion with the Soul.
The cast members will welcome Soul fans during the Acme pre-game show, which is set to begin at 2:40 p.m. The cast will also participate in a DR Horton T-shirt Toss during the first quarter. Following the game, the cast will join Soul players, coaches and Soulmates for the Comcast On-Demand Autograph session presented by Bic.
While living in Philadelphia, the cast interned with the Soul during the summer of 2004 in the Community Relations department. They assisted the “Soul Squad” with various fan-entertainment on game days, but spent most of their summer building a $100,000 playground for the kids of Northern Home for Children and Family Services.
The Philadelphia Soul come into SundayÂ’s game with a 2-2 record and are in third place in the Eastern Division. The Dallas Desperados lead the Eastern Division with a record of 3-1.
Kickoff is set for 3:00 pm and can be seen live on NBC Sports (NBC-10 WCAU Philadelphia). The game can also be heard on News Talk 990 am WNTP-Philadelphia, Sirius Satellite Radio Ch. 127 or via the internet at www.philadelphiasoul.com.
