WWE Superstar JBL to appear at River Rats game

Albany N.Y. The Albany River Rats announced today that World Wrestling Entertainment Superstar John Bradshaw Layfield will make a special guest appearance at the hockey clubs game next Friday, February 25th against the Binghamton Senators. Fans attending the 7:00 p.m. contest will get an exclusive opportunity to meet the current WWE Smackdown Champion before he takes to the ring in next months televised event at Pepsi Arena.

Layfield will drop the honorary game puck at center ice prior to the scheduled face-off and will sign autographs and take pictures with fans at select points throughout the game on the Pepsi Arena concourse. There will also be WWE Smackdown ticket giveaways throughout the night.

Capital Region wrestling fans will have the opportunity to catch Bradshaw and the rest of the WWE Superstars when Pepsi Arena hosts WWE Smackdown Live on Tuesday, March 1st. For further event or ticket information call the Pepsi Arena box office at (518) 487-2000.

The Albany River Rats, in their 12th season as a member of the American Hockey League, are owned and operated by Capital District Sports Inc., and serve as the primary affiliate of the National Hockey Leagues New Jersey Devils.
