D.C. United Loan Defender Matai Akinmboni to Loudoun United FC
May 14, 2024 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - D.C. United have loaned Homegrown defender Matai Akinmboni to Loudoun United FC in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship through Dec. 31, 2024. The club have the ability to recall Akinmboni at any point throughout the 2024 MLS season. In 2024, Akinmboni made two MLS appearances for the Black-and-Red.
