May 14, 2024 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - D.C. United have loaned Homegrown defender Matai Akinmboni to Loudoun United FC in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship through Dec. 31, 2024. The club have the ability to recall Akinmboni at any point throughout the 2024 MLS season. In 2024, Akinmboni made two MLS appearances for the Black-and-Red. April 18, 2024 - Leesburg, VA - Loudoun United FC (LUFC) and the Virginia Department of Forestry have announced a season-long partnership, effective immediately, lasting the remainder of the 2024 USL Championship season.
