May 16, 2024 - CRESTWOOD, IL - The Florence Y'alls broke open a tight game with three runs in the fourth inning and three in the fifth, eventually beating the ThunderBolts 8-1 at Ozinga Field Thursday afternoon. Michael Barker got off to a great start on the mound for the Bolts (3-4). He struck out the side in the first inning. May 15, 2024 - CRESTWOOD, IL - The ThunderBolts played their third consecutive extra-inning game Wednesday morning, carrying the Florence Y'alls into sudden death, where the Bolts held the Y'alls off the board to capture a 6-6 win at Ozinga Field. The Bolts (3-3) found themselves in an early hole thanks to a three-run first inning for Florence (3-2). May 14, 2024 - CRESTWOOD, IL - Will Armbruester pitched five shutout innings in his first professional start but the ThunderBolts fell 1-0 to the Florence Y'alls 1-0 in ten innings at Ozinga Field Tuesday afternoon. The Y'alls (3-1) had an early chance, loading the bases with no outs on two walks and an error in the top of the first. Armbruester, though, was able to work out of the jam. May 12, 2024 - CRESTWOOD, IL - The Tri-City ValleyCats scored three runs in the top of the tenth inning to break a tie and beat the ThunderBolts 8-5 at Ozinga Field Sunday afternoon. The Bolts (2-2) trailed 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning, when they took their first lead.
