May 12, 2024 - The West Texas Desert Hawks defeated the Washington Wolfpack 34-14 on Sunday in Everett, Washington, at the Angel of the Winds Arena. The Washington Wolfpack struck first with an explosive play by Xavier Crawford with a kick return converted for a touchdown to start the game. Kory Curtis Signs with Seattle Seahawks

April 29, 2024 - The new AFL has had its first player to sign with an NFL team. There has been some major preseason movement. QB Kory Curtis of the West Texas Desert Hawks has signed with the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. Curtis had yet to report to training camp in Odessa due to invites from multiple NFL teams, but he does hold the honor of being the first player in the history of the West Texas franchise to sign with the NFL. April 28, 2024 - The Georgia Force played their first game on the road against the West Texas Desert Hawks in the first Southern Conference matchup of the season. The Desert Hawks held serve at home with a 51-28 win over the Force. Going into today's bout, most everybody had it chalked up as a West Texas victory.
