May 16, 2024 - Both starting pitchers shined as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans dropped Thursday night's contest to the Fredericksburg Nationals 5-2. The Birds' second loss of the week moved them to a 14-21 record while the Nationals improved to 24-12. Kenten Egbert (1-2) retired the first 15 batters he faced before allowing two earned runs in the sixth to take the loss. Jeral Vizcaino followed with two more earned runs in his 2 1/3-inning outing. Pelicans Walk off on Nationals in 6-5 Victory

May 15, 2024 - In a rare day game in Myrtle Beach, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans grabbed a walk-off victory 6-5 over the Fredericksburg Nationals on Wednesday afternoon. Chris Paciolla knocked in the winning run with a fielder's choice in the bottom of the ninth. The Birds stand at 14-20 while the Nationals slipped to 23-12. May 14, 2024 - After taking the lead in the first inning, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans could not get the offense going after the second as they fell in Tuesday's series opener to the Fredericksburg Nationals 5-3. The loss dropped the Birds to 13-20 while the Nationals moved up to 23-11. May 12, 2024 - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans tied the series on Sunday night after a loss to the Augusta GreenJackets, 2-1. The loss moves the Birds to 13-19 on the year and the GreenJackets to 15-17. Alfredo Romero (0-4) got the start for the Birds. He collected the loss after pitching three innings, while giving up six hits and one run with just one strikeout.
