April 24, 2024 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today they have signed American OL Darta Lee. Lee, 25, spent time with the Memphis Showboats (USFL) and Arlington Renegades (XFL) in 2024 and 2023, respectively. The Texas native spent four seasons at The University of Texas at El Paso (2018-2021), playing 30 games over his Miners career. April 24, 2024 - Toronto FC announced today that the club has acquired winger Derrick Etienne Jr. in a trade with Atlanta United FC (Major League Soccer) in exchange for $200,000 in 2025 General Allocation Money (GAM). As part of the trade, Atlanta could also receive additional conditional $175,000 GAM if certain performance-based metrics are met. April 23, 2024 - The Toronto Marlies announced today that the hockey club has signed defenceman Jacob Bengtsson to a one-year AHL contract beginning in 2024-25. Bengtsson, 24, appeared in 40 games with Boston College (NCAA) this past season, recording 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists).
