December 10, 2015 - Wilmington, DE - The Kansas City Royals have announced that Jamie Quirk will manage the Wilmington Blue Rocks during the 2016 season. Quirk replaces 2015 skipper Brian Buchanan and is the 14th manager in franchise history. The 61-year-old Quirk played in 18 Major League seasons for the Royals, Brewers, Cardinals, White Sox, Indians, Yankees, Orioles and Athletics. Frawley Stadium Getting Brand New Seats for 2016 Season

December 7, 2015 - Wilmington, DE - Frawley Stadium is getting a facelift. The long-time home of the Wilmington Blue Rocks will have all of its seats replaced in a construction project that began in early December and will be finished in March, 2016. October 15, 2015 - Wilmington, DE- The Wilmington Blue Rocks were honored by the Carolina League on Thursday with the Matt Minker Community Service Award, which goes to the club that best demonstrates an outstanding, on-going commitment to charitable service, support, and leadership within its community.
