NBA D-League Awards Will Cummings All-Rookie Team and Second Team Honors

April 29, 2016 - New York - The NBA Development League has announced that the Rio Grande Valley Viper's guard, Will Cummings, has been named to the league's All-Rookie team and to the Second Team. The league's 19 head coaches voted on selecting the teams. Will Cummings started in all 49 games that he appeared on during the 2015-2016 season. April 2, 2016 - HIDALGO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (29-21) topped the Los Angeles D-Fenders (27-23) 128-121 tonight at State Farm Arena. The Vipers move on to face the Austin Spurs in the first round of the NBA Development League Playoffs next week. Jarvis Threatt led the Vipers with a career-high 33 points. March 29, 2016 - NEW YORK - The NBA Development League today announced that Montrezl Harrell, a Houston Rockets forward on assignment with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, has been suspended five games without pay for pushing a game official to the floor during an altercation with Bakersfield Jam forward Derek Cooke Jr.  Cooke Jr. has been suspended one game without pay for pushing Harrell during the incident. Vipers Split Series with Bakersfield Jam

March 26, 2016 - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (26-21) fell 119-115 to the Bakersfield Jam (22-25) tonight at State Farm Arena. The Vipers split the weekend series with the Jam after winning Friday night's contest 139-125. Jarvis Threatt led the Vipers with 27 points off the bench.
