May 25, 2016 - CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs almost came away with a series sweep against the West Virginia Power, but fell in an early hole to drop a 5-3 loss in front of 3,011 at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park Wednesay night. Cedeno, Cortes Combine for One-Hit Shutout

May 24, 2016 - CHARLESTON, SC - Luis Cedeno and Nestor Cortes were brilliant, combining for nine shutout innings, as the Charleston RiverDogs clinched the three-game series with a 6-0 win over the West Virginia Power on Tuesday night in front of 2,720 at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Cedeno (1-1) started the ballgame with six scoreless frames while allowing just a hit before Cortes finished out the final three innings of the combined shutout effort. Shawn Ferguson Named to Team of the Week

May 24, 2016 - CHARLESTON - Battery center back Shawn Ferguson was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 9 after leading Charleston to a 1-0 win over Wilmington on Saturday. It's Ferguson's third appearance overall and second as a starter in 2016. Ferguson scored the game's only goal in the 33rd minute with a cheeky finish from a Justin Portillo corner kick. Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame Releases 2016 Candidates

May 24, 2016 - CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame's advisory committee has released its candidates for the Class of 2016, and enshrinement will be conducted by voting from local fans. The Committee also announced that fans will select the two that collect the most votes while the committee will vote in two members.
