Rivermen Announce Championship Parade and Celebration for Friday

April 30, 2024 - PEORIA, IL - The City of Peoria and the Peoria Civic Center will join the Southern Professional Hockey League champion Peoria Rivermen this Friday evening (May 3) in celebration of their second President's Cup championship. The celebration will start with a fire-truck parade at 5:30 pm, starting at the Gateway Building before traveling up Main St. to Jefferson Avenue, then from Jefferson to the Peoria Civic Center. The parade will end at the Peoria Civic Center Exhibit Hall A-B, where there will be a celebration for fans.... Full Story

Rivermen Clinch Second President's Cup Title

April 28, 2024 - PEORIA, IL - For the second year in three, the Peoria Rivermen are President's Cup Champions. Alec Hagaman led the charge in his final game in a Rivermen uniform with two goals and an assist as Peoria defeated the Huntsville Havoc 5-1 on Saturday night at Carver Arena. Once again, Peoria struck quickly as Alec Hagaman struck the back of the net just 65 seconds into the contest to put the Rivermen up 1-0. Hagaman's Historic Hat Trick Ties Finals Series 1-1

April 27, 2024 - PEORIA, IL - In what will be his second to last game in a Peoria Rivermen uniform, captain Alec Hagaman made history, becoming just the third Rivermen in the SPHL era to record a playoff hat trick. Peoria needed the efforts of their captain as they defeated a resilient Huntsville Havoc squad 6-4 in front of 5581 at Carver Arena to force a decisive Game Three on the President's Cup Finals. Peoria Falls the Huntsville 3-2 in Game One of the Finals

April 26, 2024 - HUNTSVILLE, AL - Peoria had a one-goal lead going into the third, but a comeback by the Havoc earned them the victory 3-2 on Thursday night at Propst Arena as Peoria fell 1-0 in the best-of-three series. For the first time for the Rivermen all playoffs, the opposing team got on the board first to take a 1-0 lead. But Peoria responded on their first power-play opportunity.
