May 6, 2024 - (Hagerstown, Md.) - The Long Island Ducks split a single admission doubleheader with the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars on Monday evening at Meritus Park, dropping game one 3-1 before taking game two 6-3.
Hagerstown opened the scoring in the first inning of game one on a sac fly to right by Curtis Terry. Long Island tied the game in the second with a sac fly of their own off the bat of Aaron Antonini. The Flying Boxcars went back in front 3-1 in the fifth on a two-run double to right by Abiatal Avelino.

May 6, 2024 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - High Point Rockers right-handed pitcher Kyle Barraclough has had his contract purchased by the Texas Rangers. Barraclough will report to Texas' Class AAA team in Round Rock, Texas.
This is the second consecutive year in which Barraclough's early season success as a Rocker has led to a contract purchase by an MLB team. In 2023, Barraclough appeared in seven games for the Rockers including two starts, going 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA. He reported to Boston's Class AAA club at Worcester, Mass. before being called... May 5, 2024 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - The bottom half of the batting order provided a big lift on Sunday, helping the High Point Rockers end a four-game losing streak with a 5-1 in the final game of the series with the York Revolution on Sunday afternoon at Truist Point.
High Point's sixth through eighth hitters in the order, Brian Parreira, Ryan Grotjohn and Clayton Mehlbauer, combined to go five-for-11 with three runs scored, two homers and three RBI. Parriera had two hits and a homer, Grotjohn had a hit and a run scored and Mehlbauer hit... Full Story
